Is a loveseat the right small black sofa?
If you want a small black sofa, a loveseat gives you two seats in about 82 in of wall. A black sofa is a strong, dark shape in a room, so it helps to pair it with light walls or a rug. Three of the four sofas on this page are black corduroy loveseats, and the fourth is a velvet double chaise. Each has been checked on photo.
The corduroy loveseats share a footprint but not a design. One is tufted, one is plain with curved arms, and one is tufted with an ottoman you can move from side to side. | Tufted Corduroy Modular Loveseat with Ottoman | 82 in | 2 | Movable ottoman for the left or right seat |

Choosing between the four
The Tufted Corduroy Loveseat is 82 in wide, 40.94 in deep and 32.68 in high. It is the one to pick if you like a dressed-up look. The Corduroy Modular Loveseat is lower at 29.53 in high and 40.55 in deep, with softer, rounded arms.
The loveseat with ottoman adds a movable ottoman. Place it in front of the left or right seat for an L-shaped lounge, or pull it away. The page gives the 82 in width; for its depth and height, ask us before you order and we will confirm.
The velvet double chaise is not a classic loveseat. It is two chaise lounges in turtle velvet that seat two. Push them side by side as a double chaise, set them face to face, or pull them apart as two lounge chairs. Together they are 71.65 in wide, 60.24 in deep and 36.22 in high, so plan for the depth as well as the width. Side by side, the two chaises make one wide daybed, big enough to lie down together.
Moving it in
The plain and tufted loveseats each arrive in one vacuum-packed carton of about 84 lb. The ottoman set comes in two cartons. The velvet double chaise comes in two boxes of 39.37 x 16.14 x 14.56 in, 60.62 lb each. The corduroy cushions can take 2 to 7 days to reach full shape, and the corduroy loveseats have nothing to assemble. A non-slip base keeps those seats from sliding on a hard floor.

Before you choose
How wide is a small black sofa from this page?
The three corduroy loveseats are 82 in wide. The velvet double chaise is 71.65 in wide and 60.24 in deep. The two single-carton corduroy models are about 40.5 to 41 in deep.
Do I get a black loveseat with an ottoman?
Yes. The Tufted Corduroy Modular Loveseat with Ottoman includes one movable ottoman.

Will a black loveseat slide on my floor?
The corduroy loveseats have an anti-slip base that grips the floor, and the ottoman set also uses a buckle connection to hold the pieces together.
